Addison Circle
By Lorraine Circle

This place was home for me for 4 years.  Addison Circle began as a vision of the Addison 2020 committee established in 1992 to envision Addison’s future. The committee determined that Addison’s most logical future was to become the urban housing provider for those who wanted to live an urban environment and also enjoy the great location, safe environment, shopping, events, and restaurants the Town had to offer.  This little area has restaurants and little shopping stores on the first level.  You can just walk down and never leave this area.  Many festivals are held here such as Addison Oktoberfest.  This place is comparable to Level in downtown OKC but is more posh. The Structure on the left is called, "Blueprints at Addison Circle." This unique four-story sculpture offers a vision of Addison's past, present and future. A vase-like structure containing poles that reach out over the street are topped with five floating art panels, each a blueprint tracery of a phase in the town's development.
