(2) Casa Terracotta - Trevor Morse









Located in Villa De Leyva, a small village tucked away in a Mountain Range in Columbia, Casa Terracotta is the worlds largest pottery sculpture that also is used as a living space. The structure was completed in 2012 with a final square foot total of 5,400. The sculpture is known for using only clay that was found on site in order to create not only the main structure but the furniture inside as well as the decorations, which were all done by hand. It's creator and architect Octavio Mendoza is known as an artist and environmental activist.
